Crazy Girl, aka Tiff McGinnis, is a London based audio/visual artist. In the 70s, Tiffs dad was a hi-fi dealer and avid record collector. He sold stereos with blinking light speaker cabinets and ancient globes of the world that opened up into turntables. This became a fascination for Tiff, and at the age of 8, did a science fair project for school, testing the effect of centrifugal force on plant growth. She grew 3 bean plants on a constant spinning turntable for a month. To her amusement, they grew into a braid. She still has an affinity for record players, and, like her father, record collecting. On Eclectic Crazyland, youll hear ultra rare audio delights from the 1920s to the present day: Garage, blues, psyche, bluegrass, glam, punk, surf, sleaze, classical moogy goodness and much more. Plus! Plenty of witty banter and strange stories.
