I really wanted this mix to be different from anything I’ve done in the past. With my radio show (One Day Later) I’ve been fortunate enough to share the music I love for the last 5 years, so doing a mix series like White Light was not a huge departure from mixes I’ve done in terms of musical freedom. With that in mind I decided to take a more literal approach to the theme’s of space, night driving and introspection. I wanted to go deeper musically and tell a story at the same time, try to think of the cover art as a poster to a film you have yet to watch.

DJ U-Tern snags a spot on this year's URB Magazine Next 100 list of influential artists working in underground music. Although, if you check his MySpace, you'll see he does work with those in the overground, too. (Is that a word? Overground? Are we stoned?) Yeah. So. We happen to agree with every word the mag wrote. But, um, yeah...We might be a bit biased!
